Fall has always been considered to be one of the busiest seasons in Austin in terms of restaurants, as many people find the outdoors more tolerable to go outdoors to eat and drink. For Austin itself, it means a great many things, such as a restaurant with a great lineup, a food truck that gets its first actual restaurant, brand new hotel dining, and so much more.

Of course, this also means that there are some restaurant openings that have already been delayed for one reason or another. Here are eight of the best locations in Austin to look forward to soon!

Fairmont Hotel

Located at 101 Red River Street and is projected to open in late fall, this is one of downtown Austin’s largest hotel projects that comes complete with a total of five different restaurants and bars for you to enjoy. These include Garrison, which is more fine dining; Revue, a food hall setting with table service; Good Things, which is more of a coffee shop; Fulton, a lobby bar complete with shareable plates; and Rules & Regs, which is a typical bar.

Home Slice

Located in the North Loop at 501 East 53rd Street and projected to open in the late fall, you can expect to enjoy a lot of pizza, subs, and cheesecake at this restaurant, similar to what you would find at its original location. However, at the second Home Slice location, you will also be able to enjoy both cocktails and buffalo wings as well. Additionally, you will be treated to a larger-sized parking lot.

Suerte

Located on the East Side at 1800 6th Street and also projected to open sometime in the late fall, this Mexican-inspired restaurant not only focuses on the cooking techniques of the country itself, but also on masa that has been freshly made for you to enjoy.

Fareground

Located in downtown Austin at 111 Congress Avenue and, like others announced thus far, projected to open in late fall, this will essentially be Austin’s first food hall-type restaurant. This spot will include delicious options such as Antonelli’s Cheese Shop, Dai Due, and so much more for you to enjoy.

Family Business Beer Company

Located in Dripping Springs and projected to open sometime during the fall, this business will be opened by Jensen Ackles, one of the stars of the popular Supernatural television show and his family. The main focus of this business will be beers and lagers, but there will also be spaces available for food trucks, live music, a taproom, family fun, and more.

Intero Ristorante

Located in East Cesar Chavez and slated to open in October, this restaurant will focus on serving classic Italian dishes, as well as specialty chocolates, to customers.

Yuyo

While no specific date or location has been officially announced as of yet for this restaurant, it has been confirmed that it will focus on serving Peruvian dishes for customers to enjoy.

TLC

Located in Lamar Union and currently scheduled to open in September, this restaurant is community-focused and is designed to serve classic Texas comfort food that also has a coastal-type twist. The restaurant will also be led by a group of veteran Austin chefs as well.
